This Friday night is no exception as we will feature one of the biggest names in our City, Dusty Grooves alongside your Friday night residents Polyesterday and yours truly. We will be dropping science with top shelf 80s and 90s jams along side the freshest Indie cuts and mind melting mashups. This is the night of the week to get your motor running. Music starts at 9pm until close.

Enjoy locally crafted brew from Yellowhead Brewery, $4.25 Sleeves and $6.25 Pints.

Queer Youth Prom 2014


Edmonton’s 8th Annual Queer Prom

Presented by volunteers from Youth Understanding Youth and many supportive community agencies.

Generously funded by Edmonton and Area Child and Youth Services, with support from The Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild Rose, the Pride Centre of Edmonton and many supporting organizations.

Queer Prom is a free dance and social event for LGBTQ youth and their allies under age 25. Prom is drug and alcohol free.

What the Truck?! on 104 Street – May 24th, 2014


With nearly fifty food trucks ready to serve the Edmonton area this summer, without a doubt this will be the biggest year in the city’s food truck scene thus far. And to kick things off, we are happy to share the date of our first event of the 2014 season!

Save the date for What the Truck?! taking place on 104 Street downtown after the City Market on May 24.

Mercer Summer Super Party 2014



Hosted by Mercer Warehouse, Make Something Edmonton, Startup Edmonton, Edmonton’s NextGen, The Culture Collective and TD.


The Mercer Summer Super Party begins at 5 pm: Explore every floor of the Mercer Warehouse (10359-104 Street) – from Startup Edmonton on the third floor, GURU Digital Arts show on the second, Fabloomosity flower shop on the first, On the Spot Pop Up Trunk Market on the lower level, and craft beer at the Mercer Tavern. On the street you’ll find the food trucks and vendors of HWKRS MRKT, and social spaces by Edmonton Next Gen and Rogers Place + Arena District.


At 8 pm: Everyone gathers on the street for more performances, food truck alley, photo booth and other activities.

Finally at 10 pm: It’s a lights on, dance party takeover until midnight.

Only a party like this could happen at the Mercer Warehouse.

The Edmonton New Media Awards, lovingly referred to as the Yeggies, sets out to recognize and honour local content creators for the contribution they make to the city and region. The Yeggies were founded in 2012.
