Thomas Scott was born and raised in Vancouver where he was given a rich experience in the arts thanks to his parents who are both visual artists. He attended Glendon College, York University, and finished a general arts degree. During this time Thomas became an ardent promoter of the electronic music scene in Southern Ontario and was a special events producer and d.j. for over a decade. After going back to University to complete an Honours Degree and Masters in Drama at Guelph University, 2004, Thomas worked freelance as an arts management consultant in New York City and Toronto. In 2006, Thomas moved to Edmonton to take the position as Program Director for Fringe Theatre Adventures for six years. Currently he is working as a professional dj in Edmonton and is an arts and entertainment advocate and promoter. Thomas produces special events as well as The Culture Collective, a music, film and performing arts variety show, with his partner Kris Harvey that focuses on showcasing the very best in emerging talent. Thomas also volunteers his time as Co-Chair with artsScene Edmonton.
